According to law enforcement, three Russians whom he had already managed to recruit were detained with him

A 20-year-old resident of Tuapse, accused of recruiting for a terrorist organization, was detained at Sochi Airport, reported the regional branch of the Investigative Committee.

He has been charged under articles for recruiting a person to commit a crime and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization.

According to the investigation, the young man, in conversations with acquaintances, "promoted the activities of a banned terrorist organization" and persuaded them to move "to the territory of Ukraine and participate in the activities of a terrorist organization".

It is specified that the young man had previously been charged under an administrative article for displaying extremist symbols, and from June 2023 to May 2024, he continued to post on social networks "images and videos containing the attributes and symbols of extremist organizations". In connection with this, a third article was added to the charges — "repeated propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi attributes and symbols".

The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that the detainee managed to "recruit three Russians who planned to leave Russia with him". However, it is not reported whether any charges have been brought against them.
