Ukrainian military attacked the "Luch" combined heat and power plant in Belgorod for the second time in one day on Monday afternoon, reported the channel "Pepel". The information was confirmed by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who reported that one person who was involved in the elimination of the previous attack was killed. Later, it became known that a man hospitalized after the attack died in the hospital.
As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the CHP and part of the city was left without electricity. As noted by "Pepel", the missiles hit one of the "Luch" power units. The published photos show damage at the site. Whether the gas turbines and other equipment inside the combined heat and power plant were damaged is unknown.
The previous evening, as a result of a missile attack on the "Luch" power substation in Belgorod, the lights went out, and water was lost in some settlements of the Belgorod region.
