Four residents of the Samara region died due to a night attack by Ukrainian drones, and another resident of the region was injured, reported Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.
Ukrainian UAVs attacked the refinery in Novokuybyshevsk and the refinery in Saratov. According to video, initially, as a result of the drone attack on the Saratov refinery, infrastructure in the southern part of the plant was damaged, after which a column of flame appeared, then another drone attacked the plant's territory, writes ASTRA*.
The governors of the Samara and Saratov regions confirmed the attacks on the "fuel and energy complex facilities." The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed the attack, mentioning a third object - the linear production-dispatch station (LPDS) "Samara." This is a station where high- and low-sulfur oil from different fields is mixed to form the Urals export oil grade (up to 50% of the total export volume of the Russian Federation).
