The value of the seized assets is estimated at 13 billion rubles

The Volzhsky City Court of the Volgograd region seized property from the former chairman of the Supreme Court of Adygea, Aslan Trakhov, and his family, the regional press service of the courts told Interfax. The defendant fully acknowledged the claim.

Trakhov retired in 2019, after 20 years of leading the Supreme Court of the republic, yet he still remains on the Council of Judges of Adygea. Despite the asset seizure, no charges have been brought against Trakhov.

According to Kommersant, the value of the seized assets is estimated at 13 billion rubles. This includes two legal entities, which held assets worth 5.5 billion rubles, 118 land plots, and 71 commercial buildings and premises. While holding a high position, Trakhov registered numerous properties—land plots and houses in Adygea and Krasnodar—under the name of his wife's father, Svetlana Trakhova, his wife, and son [a current judge in Krasnodar] Rustem Trakhov, the agency claims.

Trakhov's daughter, Susana Kobleva, and her former husband, Kaplan Kobleva, were placed in a pre-trial detention center on charges of fraud and money laundering. They were also co-defendants in the Prosecutor General's lawsuit against Aslan Trakhov.
