In the village of Stepanovka in the Kherson region, a 69-year-old woman died as a result of Russian shelling, reported the head of the region, Alexander Prokudin. Also, due to the morning Russian shelling of Stepanovka, a family was injured when a Russian shell "hit" their house. Two girls aged 16 and 12, as well as a 37-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, were taken to the hospital.
In the Novobavarsky and Shevchenkivsky districts of Kharkiv, four people were injured due to an attack by Russian drones, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Residential buildings, garages, warehouses, and vehicles were also damaged there.
According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, 2 people died in a day, and 5 were injured. In Kharkiv, 16 private houses and vehicles were damaged, and another house was destroyed in the Izyum district.
Almost 22,000 subscribers were temporarily left without electricity.
There is also known disruption of power supply in the Chernihiv region, where an energy infrastructure facility was attacked.
According to the Air Forces of Ukraine, 83 Russian drones were shot down over the country during the night.
