The Supreme Court of the self-proclaimed DPR sentenced 47-year-old Sergey Petrik to 15 years in a high-security colony, reported «RIA Novosti» citing the FSB. He was also given a one-year restriction of freedom and fined 105 thousand rubles.
The doctor from the hospital in the village of Volodarskoye, Petrik was detained on suspicion of aiding Ukrainian special services, accused of passing information to the SBU about the location of Russian army units. The court found him guilty under the article on treason.
Petrik stated that he disagrees with the verdict and considers himself not guilty.
