US President Donald Trump allowed Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory, reported US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg in an interview with Fox News, noting that this decision is also supported by members of the Trump administration.
He clarified that sometimes the Pentagon does not give Ukraine permission to carry them out.
When asked directly whether the US president believes that Ukraine can strike Russia with long-range weapons, Kellogg responded that it was authorized by the president.
«I think that, having read what he said, as well as what Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio said, the answer is yes. Use the opportunity to strike at a long distance. There are no untouchable places».
