US imposes sanctions on 32 companies helping Russia circumvent restrictions

2025.09.13

Restrictions will affect 23 companies from China, three firms from Turkey, two from the UAE, and one company each from India, Singapore, and Taiwan

The US Department of Commerce announced the imposition of export restrictions on 32 foreign companies starting September 16. Among them are 23 Chinese firms, three Turkish, two from the UAE, and one company each from India, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The agency believes that the actions of all entities subject to the restrictions contradict the national security and foreign policy interests of the United States. As the agency explains, the companies supplied goods for the military-industrial complex in Russia and exported American products to the country without the necessary permission.
