In Kyiv, the number of deaths as a result of the Russian shelling on Sunday increased, the body of a man was retrieved from the rubble of a nine-story building in the Sviatoshyn district, rescuers reported.
Earlier it was reported that a 32-year-old woman and her three-month-old son died, and another 20 people were injured. Rescuers reported that people might still be under the rubble of the building.
During another Russian attack last night, one of the thermal generation facilities near Kyiv was damaged. Energy workers are addressing the aftermath, the country's Ministry of Energy reported. The ministry emphasized that the goal of the shelling is obvious — to cause even more difficulties for the civilian population, «leaving Ukrainian homes, hospitals, kindergartens, and schools without light and heat».
In Zaporizhzhia, two people died, and one was injured as a result of the Russian attack on the Polohy district, reported the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
During the day, Russian troops carried out 449 strikes on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, using 328 drones.
The day before, as a result of Russian shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 8 people were injured. Russia used FPV drones and heavy artillery. A five-story building and a private house were destroyed. A fire occurred in another house.
