In the Saratov region, three teenagers aged 15 and 16 were sent to a pre-trial detention center on criminal charges of terrorism due to the arson of two relay cabinets and one all-weather cabinet on a railway section between the Anisovka and Sazanka stations, reported the Western Interregional Investigation Department on Transport.
According to the investigation, in August 2025, a 15-year-old resident of Engels received a message in a messenger offering to commit a terrorist act on transport infrastructure facilities for money. The teenager agreed and convinced two of his 16-year-old friends to join. They set fire to two relay cabinets and one all-weather cabinet on the section between the Anisovka and Sazanka stations, belonging to JSC "Russian Railways" and ensuring the operation of railway transport. One of the participants recorded the incident on a phone and sent the video to the "curator" to confirm the completion of the task.
