On August 24, Independence Day of Ukraine, Russian troops struck the city of Kostyantynivka. Guided aerial bombs FAB-250 hit the community center, reported the head of the Kostyantynivka city military administration, Serhiy Horbunov.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries among the civilian population.
As a result of the shelling, the facades of an administrative building, a cultural institution, several multi-story residential buildings, and garage facilities were damaged. Also destroyed was an aid point where local residents received humanitarian aid, charged their phones, and collected purified water for their families.
Kostyantynivka is shelled by Russian troops almost every day. On August 20, as a result of an attack from the MLRS “Smerch,” three civilians were killed, and four others were injured.
