After punk rapper Bob Vylan performed on the stage of the Glastonbury Festival shouting "Freedom, Freedom for Palestine!" and "Death, Death to the IDF! [Israel Defense Forces]", the US revoked his visa. Consequently, all 26 performances in the US were automatically canceled.
A criminal case was initiated against Vylan in the UK, all his concerts in the country were canceled, and organizers also refused to hold concerts in Germany and Paris.
The agency United Talent, which represented Vylan's group Kneecap, terminated its contract with them.
BBC apologized for broadcasting the festival with anti-Israel slogans, stating: "We should have interrupted the broadcast." Vylan's performance will also not be available for replay on the broadcaster's streaming platform.
