In the Tomsk region, a local resident was arrested and accused of collaborating with Ukrainian intelligence services. He is charged under the article of 'treason', and the court sent him to a pre-trial detention center, reported 'Kommersant'.
'Expressing allegiance to the Ukrainian side, the accused was photographing military facilities located in the Tomsk region. The prepared material was sent to the enemy for further use in planning and carrying out sabotage and terrorist acts', stated the FSB release.
In October 2024, two residents of the Tomsk region were convicted on charges of transferring money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the purchase of kamikaze drones, ammunition, and military equipment. On charges of 'treason', they received nine and eight years of imprisonment with a restriction of freedom for one year after release.
