The Investigative Committee of the Samara region initiated a criminal case on 'rehabilitation of Nazism' due to a video in which teenagers in Togliatti hum the anthem of Ukraine and 'Our Father is Bandera, Ukraine is the mother'.
Initially, the Investigative Committee's investigation into a group of young people from Togliatti was reported by Ekaterina Mizulina, noting that the banned songs were sung in Victory Park. 'The teenagers praised the Nazi and one of the bloodiest terrorists of the last century, Bandera, and also sang the anthem of Ukraine in the middle of Victory Park in Togliatti. The police are already conducting an investigation,' reported one of the country's main informants.
Later, the regional Investigative Committee published a release. 'During the monitoring of social media, videos were identified showing the illegal actions of teenagers in Togliatti performing musical works containing signs of rehabilitation of Nazism,' the statement notes. A few hours later, the Investigative Committee reported the initiation of a criminal case.
