The court arrested a resident of the Amur region on charges of terrorism; he was detained while attempting to set fire to a military enlistment office, the press service of the regional FSB department reported.
Meanwhile, in the published video of the detention, it is visible that the man is being led out of his own home. Additionally, the footage was taken in winter, but the special service reported the detention only now.
According to the security forces, the man was an «active participant of a pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel» and intended to set fire to the military enlistment office to «prevent the dispatch of military personnel to the special military operation zone». These actions were classified as a «terrorist act». This article provides for a punishment of up to 20 years of imprisonment.
