The Russian army attacked Odessa with drones on the night of June 28, one of the drones hit a residential building, a married couple died, reported the head of the Odessa city administration Oleg Kiper.
Due to the enemy UAV strike, a fire broke out on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of the 21-story residential building. People were trapped in their apartments. Five people were rescued and evacuated.
14 people were injured, including a seven-year-old boy in moderate condition and a three-year-old child who was poisoned by combustion products.
After extinguishing the fire at the impact site, rescuers retrieved the bodies of the couple from the rubble.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia attacked Ukraine with 32 drones.
