In December 2023, he already received a suspended sentence on similar charges

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Tambov received a case for the second time on 'discrediting' the army against ex-military Oleg Borisenko, previously the court returned the materials to the prosecutor's office, reported the human rights project 'OVD-Info'*.

The reason for the prosecution was at least two videos on social networks. In the first video, Borisenko urged the members of the military-patriotic club he founded not to go to war with Ukraine and called it criminal. In the second video, the man addressed the governor of the Tambov region, Maxim Egorov, and suggested he go and look at the graves of soldiers killed in Ukraine.

In early December 2023, the Sosnovsky District Court of the Tambov region already found Oleg Borisenko guilty in another criminal case, in addition to repeated 'discrediting' of the army, he was charged with illegal possession of explosives. For the first charge, the man was given a six-year suspended sentence, for the second—a fine of 150 thousand rubles. This case was initiated after Borisenko splashed paint on a poster with the letters Z and V.

In May 2023, Borisenko was arrested for 15 days due to an unpaid fine for jaywalking. On June 6, upon leaving the detention center, Borisenko was detained and taken to the police department. The next day, the Oktyabrsky District Court sent him to a pre-trial detention center. In mid-June, he was released from the detention center under house arrest, in October the court did not extend the preventive measure.

In May 2022, Oleg Borisenko was already fined 30 thousand rubles under an administrative article for 'discrediting' due to a sticker with a crossed-out letter Z on his car window.

In 2014–2015, Borisenko participated in military actions in the Donbas as part of the Wagner PMC. After that, he founded the military-patriotic club 'Russian' in Tambov.
