Rivne region experienced the largest air attack since the beginning of the war, with the main strike hitting the city of Dubno, injuring one person, reported the mayor of Rivne, Oleksandr Tretyak, noting that the region was attacked by dozens of 'Shaheds' and missiles.
The Russian army also attacked the capital of Ukraine at night. As a result of the night raid on Kyiv, an office building was damaged in the Darnytskyi district. In the Boryspil district, a residential building, an outbuilding, and a car were damaged.
In addition to the Rivne and Kyiv regions, explosions were also heard in the Ternopil, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regions.
Early in the morning, Polish and allied aircraft were scrambled to protect Polish airspace due to Russia's combined strike on Ukraine.
The operational command of the Polish armed forces reported that Russia carried out airstrikes on Western Ukraine, near the border with Poland, so the steps taken are aimed at ensuring security in regions bordering risk zones.
