The Central District Military Court of Samara sentenced Ukrainian refugee Valentina Tagirova to 8 years of imprisonment, reported SOTAvision*. The woman was also given a year of restricted freedom after release from the colony, with the requirement to report regularly and a ban on leaving the city.
A hairdresser from Donetsk, who ended up in Samara after the start of the full-scale war, is accused of 'preparing for a terrorist attack'. As 'First Department'* writes, a year after moving, she was contacted by an unknown person who introduced himself as a member of a Ukrainian paramilitary organization and demanded she do what he said. The anonymous person knew everything about Valentina and her close relatives, threatening her daughter and father. This convinced Tagirova to comply with his demands.
Later, she was contacted by someone named 'Platon'. At his request, Tagirova took several photographs of buildings in Samara, and also bought acetone, a plastic canister, a sheet of foam, and a can of aluminum paint. As soon as Tagirova brought all this to an abandoned house and returned to the car, she was detained by FSB officers on charges of preparing for a terrorist attack.
Tagirova and her defenders are convinced that under the alias 'Platon', she was contacted by 33-year-old FSB officer Egor Yelistratov. He is involved in the criminal case as a prosecution witness.
