The Izobilnensky District Court of Stavropol sent a 20-year-old accused of participating in the 'Russian Volunteer Corps' to a pre-trial detention center, the court's press service reported.

According to the investigation, 'from November 3 to December 9 [2024]' the young man corresponded with a certain representative of the RVC and 'committed to perform actions to gather information about a state institution'.

In addition, as claimed by the Investigative Committee, he 'inclined his 20-year-old acquaintance to participate in the activities of a terrorist organization, but the girl refused'.

In a published video, the detainee said on camera that he was asked to 'photograph the military enlistment office, police department, private security company', 'recruit people' and 'sign a questionnaire'.

The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under articles on 'participation in a terrorist organization' and 'recruitment of people'.
