In a day, Russian troops attacked 593 times in 16 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov. Five people died, and nine more were injured.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, one missile strike was carried out, 12 airstrikes were made, and over 350 drones of various modifications were launched. There were 56 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, cars, and infrastructure facilities. On Monday morning, the Russian army hit an industrial infrastructure facility and a residential area in Sumy, injuring 2 women.
Also, three guided aerial bombs were dropped on the center of the village of Khotyn in the Sumy district. Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged — medical and educational institutions, a church, and about 20 private houses were targeted.
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, a targeted strike was made on a rescue unit, stated the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak. During the arrival of medics, Russian troops made a second strike. “Two civilian men were injured. The rescuers hid the injured people in a shelter and waited for medics. Upon the arrival of emergency medical workers, the Russians struck again, injuring the ambulance driver. The medics were forced to return to their location on their own,” reported the State Emergency Service. A medical facility, fire station, and store were damaged.
