On the night of May 29, three Ukrainian drones attempted to attack Moscow but were intercepted by air defense systems, reported the capital's mayor, Sergey Sobyanin. However, as a result of repelling the attack, debris from one of the drones fell on a multi-story residential building on Vernadsky Avenue in the southwest of Moscow. The residential complex "Mirax Park" was hit, located 800 meters from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"According to preliminary information, there are no serious damages or casualties. Emergency service specialists are working at the site of the debris fall," noted Sobyanin.
Drone debris also fell on the roof of a multi-apartment residential building in Odintsovo, damaging cars parked near the building.
The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 48 Ukrainian drones. 30 UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region, four over the Oryol region, four over the Ryazan region, four over annexed Crimea, two over the Bryansk region, and one over Tambov.
