The National Police of Ukraine reported that during the three-day ceasefire announced by Russia, shelling of settlements continues not only in the Donetsk region but also in the Sumy region. Over the day, Russian military shelled 33 settlements in the Sumy region with various types of weapons, «a total of 271 strikes were delivered».
As a result of the shelling, an 85-year-old woman died, and three people were injured with varying degrees of severity.
19 private houses, 10 outbuildings, a church, and a store were damaged, and another 3 private houses were completely destroyed.
Over the day, as a result of Russian shelling of the region, two more people died. Thus, due to KAB strikes, a 64-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man died. In addition, four people were injured.
70 KAB strikes and 20 FPV drone attacks were recorded.
Over the day, 144 people were evacuated from border areas by local authorities in cooperation with the State Emergency Service, National Police, and public organizations.
