The capital's police warned Muscovites that launching an "unmanned aerial vehicle" could result in a fine of up to 50,000 rubles for "violating airspace rules," TASS reports. At the same time, police officers "have the right to suppress by destroying the flight of any unmanned aerial vehicles," including with the use of weapons.

The ban on the use of fireworks in the city was introduced "due to the increasing number of provocations." Citizens who violate this ban were promised to be held administratively liable under the article on violation of fire safety requirements. "In the event of more serious consequences, the actions of a person using fireworks are qualified in accordance with the norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the police warned.
