Flight restrictions were introduced at nine airports in Russia

As a result of the Ukrainian drone attack, the territory of a refinery in the Volgograd region caught fire, reported the governor of the region, Andrey Bocharov. According to him, "local fires broke out" on the refinery's territory and "temporary voltage fluctuations in the power grid were observed."

Astra* claims that drones attacked the Lukoil facility, and after the strike, power outages occurred in several districts of Volgograd. Residents of the city posted videos of explosions in local public groups, of which there were at least ten.

In February 2024, after a drone attack, the Lukoil refinery in Volgograd was already on fire. Authorities also claimed at the time that the drone was shot down and the fire was caused by falling debris.

In the Astrakhan region, the Gazprom plant was attacked. The governor of the region, Igor Babushkin, reported an attack on fuel and energy complex facilities. According to him, all drones were shot down, but when one of them fell, a fire broke out at the gas processing plant owned by Gazprom. No preliminary casualties.

During the night and morning, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at the airports of Astrakhan, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, and Makhachkala.

In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, 70 drones were destroyed over Russian regions during the night. In the Volgograd region, 25 UAVs were shot down, seven in the Astrakhan region, five in the Voronezh region, four in the Belgorod region, and two in the Kursk region.
