UPD: The number of victims in Poltava has increased to 14 people, the injured to 17 people, including three children
Russian military attacked Ukraine with drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles. In Kharkiv and Poltava regions, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
In Poltava, a missile hit a residential five-story building, destroying the entrance from the first to the fifth floor, and a fire broke out. Nearby houses and 12 cars were also damaged. According to preliminary data, three people died, 10 were injured. Among the injured is a child. 21 people were rescued from the building.
Damage to the energy infrastructure was also recorded, leaving 164 households and 1 legal entity without power.
Additionally, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region with missiles. According to the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, there was an "arrival" in the Holodnogorsky district within the residential area, and a fire occurred at the impact site. As a result of the attack, a 60-year-old woman died, and according to preliminary data, five people were injured.
Due to the strike, a private house was partially destroyed, and 16 more houses were damaged. The head of the regional military administration, Oleh Synehubov, noted that within a day, the Russian military used six missiles and 17 drones to attack the Kharkiv region.
Also, after midnight on February 1, the Russian army struck Zaporizhzhia with 18 drones, one of the most massive attacks on the city, with no casualties.
