UPD: During the clearing of the nine-story building's rubble, rescuers extracted the body of a man aged 25-30, reported regional prosecutor's office spokesperson Dmitry Chubenko. No reports of his disappearance were received from relatives, so law enforcement will establish his identity. The body of a 15-year-old teenager was also recovered.
On the evening of October 30, Russian forces hit a multi-story building in Kharkiv with a guided FAB-500 aerial bomb, destroying two floors. An 11-year-old boy died, and rescuers also retrieved body fragments from the rubble. An examination will be conducted to establish identity. Another 34 people were injured.
Subsequently, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that a fire broke out in the building. “The destruction of the building from the enemy KAB is significant enough to threaten collapse and overall (hinder) the work of rescuers. Despite this, SES workers are working as quickly as possible to clear the rubble,” said Synegubov. He also emphasized that the attack was timed for nighttime when people are at home with their families.
“Partners see what happens daily. And in these conditions, each of their delayed decisions is at least dozens, if not hundreds, of such Russian bombs against Ukraine. Their decisions are the lives of our people. Therefore, we must stop Russia together and do it with all possible force,” wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
On the evening of October 30, the Russian army attacked the Odessa region. About 10 missiles were launched at the region, reported the head of Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
On the night of October 31, drones attacked Kyiv for the 20th time this month, debris from a downed drone fell in a non-residential area, with no casualties.
