The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk region published a video of the arrest of a 17-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident with the «forceful support of OMON fighters of the National Guard Directorate». Seven people in masks and bulletproof vests broke into the apartment and laid the teenager on the floor. He is accused of «demonstrating the symbols of a banned organization». However, which organization specifically is not specified.
«During operational search activities, the police established that the young man published a photo with the image of symbols on the internet», the police stated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that in February the teenager had already been held administratively liable for a similar offense, but «did not draw the proper conclusions for himself».
Based on the materials collected by Krasnoyarsk police, the investigative authorities have initiated a criminal case under the article on «repeated propaganda or public demonstration of banned symbols».
